Applying directly VS Posting to the Investor Community

What it is
Used for finding groups near you and applying to them directly. You can have 3 active applications out at once without being placed in the bulk submission folder. This is a free tool for entrepreneurs to use. Some groups charge a submission fee.
When to use it
It is always a good idea to apply to your local investment groups. Before applying to a group directly, read their website and make sure that you fit their investment criteria.
Investor Community
What it is
Used for posting to the Investor Community within Angelsoft, accessible to all 13,000 investors and 400 Investment Groups that use our platform. Rather than applying directly to a group, posting to the Investor Community allows investors to find you. They browse through deals posted there based on a variety of criteria such as industry, rating, and number of views. The cost to post is $250.
When to use it
If you are looking for broader exposure for your deal, or you have already applied to your local investment groups, then post to the Investor Community .

Investors rate deals in the Investor Community to moderate the best opportunities to the top, similar to the site Digg.com. In your case the investor did not choose to share that rating with you. At the end of the month we are releasing a few new features to further publicize these ratings to the entrepreneur to provide more feedback.
